Citizens' Academy
Mission Viejo Police Services is excited to host our Citizens' Academy Class #2 for our community. This 6-week academy will take place on six consecutive Thursdays, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., 2/27/20 through 4/2/20. Space is limited to 35 qualified participants and will include:
- Live fire at the OCSD shooting range
- Force option simulators at the OCSD Tactical Training Center
- Tour of the Sheriff's Emergency Communications Bureau which includes dispatch and the Emergency Operations Center
- Demonstrations by Air Support, K9s, Crime Scene Investigations
- Tour of the Orange County Coroner's office

Participants must be at least 18 years old, a resident of Mission Viejo, and pass a basic background check. Successful candidates will then be placed on an eligibility list on a first come first served basis.
