Walk Against Drugs - Fundraising and Volunteer Info

Schools and Youth Group Fundraising Opportunity:

Schools in Mission Viejo are invited to host a fundraising activity booth including food, games and/or crafts for participants to enjoy at the Community Fair. The participating group (ex- PTA, ASB, various student clubs) receives the full profit from ticket sales at their booth. Please contact Crime Prevention Specialist Khatra Molina at kmolina@cityofmissionviejo.org for an application or for more information.The deadline to submit booth applications is Friday, September 28, 2018.

Community Service or Volunteer Hours Available:

Volunteers 14 years of age and older are encouraged to sign up to help with a variety of tasks before, during and after the event on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Bikeway Survey

The City of Mission Viejo is developing a Bikeway Master Plan to improve the cycling experience in our community and encourage more people to enjoy riding their bicycles. We are currently in the process of gathering information to understand current cycling trends and preferences in the City.

As part of this effort, beginning on November 8th and running through December 7th, we are seeking resident feedback via a short, online survey. The survey will be available on our website, in our newsletter, and via our social media sites. 

The online survey is available at https://tinyurl.com/missionviejobike, and those who participate will qualify for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
