Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner and one special dog is in the spirit!  Denver, a 4-year-old pit bull terrier, is dressed up and hoping for a place to go this Halloween. 

He is well-mannered, confident and loves to be the center of attention—instantly becoming best buds with everyone he meets. Denver would do best with a family that is home often, loves to cuddle and is able to give him the exercise he needs.  

As an added incentive, Denver will go home to an approved applicant for only $20. 

Do those hay-stuffed figures that are placed in fields to keep fowl and fauna out ever appear in Mission Viejo? You bet. Every Halloween, scarecrows become standard lawn décor but this year, they will take over Mission Viejo.

The City will place more than 50 scarecrows in public places throughout the community and is seeking nonprofit organizations – churches, scouts, schools and charities – to make a scarecrow for the chance to win a cash prize courtesy of the Friends of the Arts.
