“Continuing Mission Viejo’s Olympic Tradition,” the Marguerite Aquatics Complex will make a historic splash for its Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Saturday, April 7.

Ushering in a new chapter of our City’s swimming and diving legacy, the event will give the community a chance to meet Olympians including Greg Louganis, Rowdy Gaines and our very own Brian Goodell. The celebration includes a diving demonstration, Nadadores’ historical timeline and photo opportunities with and autographs from the Olympians.

While swimming on the Mission Viejo Nadadores Masters team in the 1970s, Margrit Graef remembers the friends she made and the privilege she felt by meeting future Olympians. It’s still that way today, more than four decades later.
