This special concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
 
With the talents of popular violinist Samuel J Chen and pianist Honiball Joseph, the concert will boast the most well-known and beloved violin and piano duets. The pieces are romantic, endearing and will certainly warm your heart.
 

Brad Meltzer, one of the nation’s most beloved thriller authors, will discuss his new book “The Escape Artist” on Wednesday, March 14 as part of the City’s popular Writers Present program. The enchanting free presentation begins at 7 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

Senator Pat Bates and Assemblyman Bill Brough are gearing up to host the 2018 South Orange County Senior Day on Friday, March 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

RJ Mitte, an actor and model best known for his role on “Breaking Bad,” and Kate Tomlinson of Disney’s “Stuck in the Middle” will take part in Mission Viejo’s inaugural Oso Fit 5K Fun Run on March 3. 

Mitte and Tomlinson will be joined by actors Aaron Schwartz, Niko Pepaj and Lacianne Carriere for the event that includes quarter- and half-mile runs specifically for kids.

Enjoy live music, appetizers and wine for a good cause on Saturday, February 17 at the Norman P. Murray Community Center.

From 3-5 p.m., this fun event will boast tastes from more than a dozen different wines from the San Clemente Wine Company. Proceeds will benefit the Wars of Freedom Veterans Tribute designed to recognize veterans who’ve served our country during the years from 1975 to present day.

The Community Health Fair is from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. March 3 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

The City’s Drug Prevention Coalition is hosting an educational workshop on January 17 to address recreational marijuana and Proposition 64.

If you served our country any time from 1975 to the present day, we want YOU for the Wars of Freedom Veterans event in March.

This nostalgic day filled with music, gifts and patriotic moments begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 24 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.

The event includes a “Welcome Home Heroes” reception at 11 a.m. followed by a catered lunch, program and performance by the Marine Corps Band at 2 p.m.

Tickets are available for an encore matinee performance of "Uncle Eddy's Lasagna" on Sunday, January 7.

The twilight matinee is at 4 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 24932 Veterans Way.
 
Set at Christmas time, this slapstick play focuses on animated characters - Uncle Eddy, Grandpa Carlo and others - in the kitchen making lasagna, of course, which is served to audience members.

Tickets are $15.
