The Orange County Modular Railroaders (OCMR) is hosting its annual holiday model railroad exhibit at the Kaleidoscope.

Stop by between 3 and 9 pm on December 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23 and 30 at 27741 Crown Valley Parkway.

The OCMR is a club organized to further the education and enjoyment of model railroading through exhibits, demonstrations and more.

Mission Viejo Nadadores diver Anna Lemkin is a world champion after winning gold Wednesday at the FINA Junior World Championships in Montreal, Canada.  

Lemkin, 15, began the finals in second place but proved to be the most consistent diver with a final of 344.75, which bettered her prelims score by 21 points. At the end of the 14-15 girls 3-meter springboard competition, Lemkin stood atop the podium in her USA Diving warmups. 

Head to Terrace on the Green at 5:30 pm on Friday, December 2 for live music by the popular local group Sierra Band.

Sierra plays an array of favorite popular hits.

Head to the North Paseo this Saturday for a special Night Market - Glow Fest.

This free family-friendly event takes place from 5 to 9 pm at 25282 Marguerite Parkway.

Enjoy celebrating light with a bunch of neon fun. Activities including dart painting, human pinball, glow jewelry, and slime stations.  The Night Market will also host games, food vendors, photo opportunities, live music and a beer garden.
