Economic Development

Economic Development Department is open Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm and is located on the First Floor of City Hall at 200 Civic Center on the corner of La Paz Road and Marguerite Parkway.

Business Licenses

Business licenses are not required for businesses located and operating in City of Mission Viejo; however, all new businesses are required to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy permit from the City's Building Services Division.

Tapas OC restaurant is expected to open its new 6,500-square-foot eatery at the Kaleidoscope center sometime in December.

The restaurant, which used to be in Newport Beach, is known for its authentic Spanish cuisine and live entertainment. Its menu boasts an array of tapas, seafood and Mediterranean salads.
