The Mission Viejo Library is gearing up for its spectacular 20th anniversary celebration on Saturday, October 14.
Residents and businesses experiencing problems with any state agency can obtain help from Assemblyman Bill Brough’s District Office in Mission Viejo on Monday, September 18.
The mobile office is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mission Viejo Library at 100 Civic Center.
From unemployment to licensing and help with the DMV, Assemblyman Bill Brough’s staff can provide assistance in resolving an array of issues.
Save the date for Wednesday, July 19 when bestselling authors Michelle Gable and Laura Dave discuss and sign their new books “The Book of Summer†and “Hello, Sunshine" at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
This delightful free event includes free light refreshments and a no-host wine bar beginning at 6:15 p.m. Then at 7 p.m. the authors will discuss their books, followed by a Q & A with the audience and book signing.
Mark your calendar for Monday, July 10 and head to the Mission Viejo Library to get some great summer reads for a bargain.
The next time you stop by the Mission Viejo Library check out the exquisite art exhibit on display beginning Friday, June 9.
The work is from artists in a multilevel painting class through the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. The talented artists ranged from the novice to the more advanced painter.
Children are invited to tap their creative sides on Saturday, May 6 in the free "Learn to Draw Cartoons" workshop.
The fun takes place at 2 p.m. in the Saddleback Room at City Hall, 200 Civic Center.
Kids 4 and older (with a parent/guardian) will sharpen their skills when artist Dave Boatman teaches them how to draw fantastic undersea creatures.
