The Orange County Sheriff's Department launched a regional registry to assist families and caregivers of folks with certain medical conditions, special needs or disabilities that may make communication with law enforcement difficult.
Take Me Home is a free program available to residents to help people with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, Down syndrome or any developmental disability or medical condition that might impact their ability to effectively communicate.

Baseball fans listen up: Get ready to root on your favorite teams in the So Cal Little League State Tournament at Marty Russo Youth Athletic Park July 20-30.
Hosted by District 68 Little League, this year’s prestigious tournament for players ages 10-12 includes the best 10 teams in Southern California – from Santa Barbara to San Diego – battling it out. The winner of the tournament will advance to the Western Regional Tournament in San Bernardino with hopes of becoming the western representative in Williamsport, PA at the Little League World Series.

Think you can perform the best belly flop or cannon ball in town? Earn prizes and forever bragging rights at the final Summer Friday Float from 4-7 pm on August 2 at the Sierra Recreation Center, 26887 Recodo Lane.
Bring your family, swimsuits and towels to this ice cream-themed event that includes music, family games and crafts. Enjoy the water slide from 4-5:45 pm before perfecting your style in the belly flop and cannon ball contests at 6 pm. Food, snacks and ice cream will be sold onsite, and guests will enjoy open recreational swimming and tons of fun.

Get ready to kick up your feet and move to the beat of the Bee's Knees Speakeasy & Swing Dance featuring Got That Swing on Saturday, July 13 at the Norman P. Murray Community Center!
With live music and dancing, this event promises to engage all ages in swing dancing and a vintage speakeasy attitude. Got That Swing reaches far beyond the swing era to include pop classics from every period. You won't stop dancing when you hear them perform.
Enjoy an enchanting night under the stars experiencing one of Shakespeare's most famous and dramatic plays - "Henry V" - performed by Shakespeare by the Sea on Friday, July 19.
The production begins at 7 pm along the Village Green near the Norman Murray Community Center at 24932 Veterans Way.
