Explore the great outdoors with your library card. Through a special program, you can use your Mission Viejo Library card to check out a free California State Parks vehicle day-use pass.

The new pass allows free vehicle day-use entry at more than 200 participating State park locations. Each pass grants the day-use entry for a passenger vehicle with up to nine passengers or a motorcycle. You can borrow a pass for up to two weeks and visit locations like Crystal Cove State Park, Doheny State Beach, San Clemente State Beach, and more.   

Create your own fun succulents using reclaimed and recycled materials! The Teen Advisory Board invites families to learn how to reuse old containers and succulent cuttings to make your own fun, personal creations.

This free program is available to all ages.

The Mission Viejo Library's Teen Advisory Board is seeking cuttings of succulents for a special program on April 30.

You can help these hardworking teens by dropping off your bagged trimmings at the Mission Viejo Library (100 Civic Center) during operating hours to the adult reference desk through April 29.

The Mission Viejo Library is celebrating National Library Week with a fun event on Friday, April 8 from 5 to 8 pm at Oso Viejo Community Park.

Tale Trail Kick off, 5-6:30 pm

Make plans to spend the afternoon with bestselling authors Abbi Waxman ('Adult Assembly Required') and Lauren Kate ('By Any Other Name').

Seating is limited and registration is required for this exciting event.

Sensory Storytime is an interactive and inclusive storytime geared toward neurodivergent children.

Children age 3 and older (with caregiver).
