The City Council on Tuesday, September 13 will recognize outstanding members of the City's adopted troops and receive updates about an E-bike Safety Plan as well as an enhanced recreation center, among other business.
The Mission Viejo Diversity + Inclusion Task Force is seeking nominations of businesses, organizations or individuals who provide exceptional services to people with disabilities for a special recognition.
The recognition is in honor of October's designation as Disability Awareness Month.

State Senator Patricia Bates issued a press release today about the formation of the South Orange County Sober Living and Recovery (SOCSLAR) Task Force with Mayor Wendy Bucknum as chair and Bates as co-chair following a recent regional public policy working group's roundtable meeting that addressed challenges cities and unincorporated areas continually face with the growing number of sober living and treatment homes operating throughout south Orange County communities.
