During this time of at-home quarantine, the City of Mission Viejo Library and Recreation and Community Services Departments want you to know we are here for you! This Virtual Activity Center will serve as a place for you and your family to find safe social distancing recreation and leisure activities for both home and the outdoors.

Lace up your tennis shoes, grab your friends and family members and head to the Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Community Health for a good cause on Saturday, February 29.

Hosted by the City and Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, the event features a 5K and quarter- and half-mile runs along with a popular Community Health Fair. By simply registering for this event, you can support your favorite local nonprofit.

Join our friends from i9 Sports for outdoor sand volleyball fun this spring at the Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center!

A special artist reception is set for Sunday to celebrate the incredible works of art on display at the Potocki Center for the Arts.

The reception is from 2-5 pm at 27301 La Paz Road.

The fascinating exhibit is by students of Dr. Marillyn Brame, director of Visual Arts Art School and a designer of visual arts murals. She teaches classes for children and adults in all media – from beginning drawing to advanced painting techniques.

Online registration for the Spirit League 2020 Baseball Season kicks off on February 1.

Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, Spirit League is a safe place for children and young adults with special needs to play team sports in a positive, self-esteem building environment. The league offers three sports per year for athletes ages 6-22 with autism and other developmental disabilities. The goals for families are to strengthen relationships, provide support and develop community.

Early bird pricing ends soon, so get a jump on registering for the 5K Fun Run/Walk and Children’s Half & Quarter-Mile Races taking place from 7:30-11 a.m. on Saturday, February 29. Hosted by the City and Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, this event is an extension of the annual Community Health Fair.
