Mission Viejo Animal Services Youth Explorer Program
Thank you for your interest in our Mission Viejo Animal Services Explorer Program! If you love animals or you're interested in a career in the animal field, this program is for you! Our program focuses on different careers within the animal field such as Entrepreneurship, Grooming, Veterinary Science, Animal Behavior/Training, Animal Tracking, Animal Law Enforcement, Animal Rescue, Field Biology, Marine Biology, Animal Handling, and so much more. You will gain experience and meet many individuals who work in many of these fields.
Requirements:
- Must be responsible and on time
- Must be between 14-18 years of age
- Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
- Attend bi-monthly meetings (second and last Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm)
- Participation in Events, Activities, or Projects
- Assist with emergencies
- Participation in community projects and or events
- Team player
Uniform is required and explorer will be responsible for obtaining some uniform materials (to be discussed in Orientation).
