Patrick aka Kita

Through “A Mission for Home Rescue Program,” we transferred an adorable Boston Terrier/Chihuahua-mix from a high-impact shelter in Los Angeles to our shelter.  Oddly enough, this little dog that we named Patrick was dyed green.  We could only imagine why he was dyed green, and no amount of bathing would remove his green tint.  We think this added to his charm and so did a wonderful family from Mission Viejo who decided to take him home.  Here is the update from the family:

We're the proud family members of adopting Patrick (now named Kita) in our family.  Luke named him Kita after his favorite ramen noodle house Kitakata.  He's such a great dog, one of our family members and is truly a blessing!

Thank you to all the great staff members for helping us with Kita!  Still a little green, even after a couple baths, but OK with us – we love him with all his perfect imperfections!

My son Luke is over the moon and they're inseparable!  Kita gives us so much love back!  He's incredible and the best and cutest dog ever!

We are thrilled Kita found such a wonderful home – have a great life!
