Orange County has an abundance of wildlife and Mission Viejo Animal Services Center receives many calls regarding these animals, especially in the spring season. We do respond to any injured or sick wildlife in the cities of Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills and Rancho Santa Margarita. Mission Viejo Animal Services actively tracks reported sightings of apex predators in our jurisdiction. Apex predators are considered to be Mountain Lions, Coyotes, and Bobcats. If you have spotted an apex predator, please complete the Wildlife Sighting Report Form. These reports will be monitored daily.
