Rescue Round-Up April 2021

The Nix family was excited to welcome Lexi, a 3-year old German Shephard, to their home in January. She immediately became part of the family and fits in perfectly. Lexi loves her belly rubs, hunting for rabbits on walks, playing tug-of-war, and learning new tricks including shaking hands. On Super Bowl Sunday, Lexi tailgated with her new family in the backyard and spent three hours gnawing on a bacon-wrapped bone they picked up at Hala's Paws, which is a new family-owned dog and cat boutique in Mission Viejo. Lexi makes her entire family laugh when she chases butterfly shadows on the ground throughout the backyard or gives surprise kisses across the face. The family is grateful to have Lexi!
