Rescue Round-Up November 2020

When other shelters reach out for help, the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center does anything possible to assist.  At the end of the summer, an Inland Empire shelter was overwhelmed with kittens and asked our staff for help.  We had room for kittens, so we happily obliged.  One of the kittens we rescued was Curry, a 2-month-old orange tabby.  Sweet and adorable, he should have been adopted quickly, but we noticed some medical issues that needed attention.  After an extensive exam, we learned his issue could be controlled by a simple change in diet.  He was then adopted by a wonderful couple and is now enjoying a great life!  The center and DAWG are proud to help pets in need through our Mission for Home program.
