Ella

For the first months, Ella would shred the first thing she could find the second we stepped outside, even if we were just a minute to take out the trash. She had terrible separation anxiety, which was understandable considering how many transfers of ownership she had been through. She was afraid of everything and slow to warm up and trust. Our dog Daisy was her little mentor and taught her how to trust and how to enjoy a dog's life.

Now, Ella knows that she is in her forever home! We have a wonderful routine with the dogs and it is heart-warming to know that Ella is now comfortable and very content. She sleeps on the foot of my daughter's bed each night, plays all day with Daisy and gets lots of walks, car rides and attention from all of us. The separation anxiety is gone and she will even bark at the doorbell to protect us. Ella runs with the big dogs at the dog park (she's lightning fast!) and she and Daisy play tirelessly. Their favorite game is "tug-of-war" with their rope toy.
Ella is a very smart girl and has a heart of gold!

Thank you again for trusting in us to be her family. We love her more than words can say! Thanks for all of the good work you and the DAWG organization do getting animals into loving homes!
