Success Story - Mim
Hello!
This is Mim Williams, writing from my new home in Pasadena. I miss my old friends, all of you who work at the Mission Viejo Animal Shelter. My new mom is really nice, and I have a big brother, Mateo. Pasadena is very hot but we got air-conditioning this weekend! So I found a basket, curled up, and stayed in it the whole morning.
(See picture attached!)
Dry kitten food is OK, but I really love to try to eat people food! When my new mom wasn't looking, I licked her container of hummus. She told me I couldn't eat it, but it sure was delicious!
There are lots of little spaces for me in my new apartment. My new mom says I'm the same color as a shadow, and if I sit in a shady part of the apartment, she can't see me. So I do it all the time, and I watch her, and I wait for her to realize that I'm right there! LOL it feels like being a spy!
Every time I do something daring and fun, my new mom says "Remember, you are a brave girl, but you are not a big girl." I think she wants me to be more careful but that is so hard to do when you are a kitten (you guys probably can't relate, because you are big humans, not little kittens like me.)
Well, that's all the news for now. I will send you guys, all my old friends, more pictures from my new adventures in the future. Until then, please say hello to all of the volunteers in the kitten room, the people in the office, and all of the people who work in the back. Thanks for saving me and naming me Mim!
Love,
Mim Williams
