Holiday Gratitude
This holiday season we extend heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers who generously dedicates their time, energy, and compassion to make a positive impact at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center. The center currently has 172 active volunteers who work 365 days a year. We offer several volunteer opportunities in addition to caring for our animals. Our Animal Services Ambassadors serve as greeters at the center and help direct visitors and answer general questions. Our Customer Service volunteers help Animal Services Representatives at the front counter by answering general questions and inquiries by phone and in person seven days a week. Our center volunteers also help with education programs and events including wildlife outreach as well as rabbit and cat care and dog walkers.
The selfless efforts of our volunteers play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and safe environment for the animals in our care. Their dedication goes beyond the ordinary, and it is truly inspiring to witness the love and care they provide to these innocent homeless animals that rely on our support. Whether in the form of walking, feeding, cleaning, outreach event assistance, front desk work, public education, or just spending time with the animals, their efforts have a big impact. Their generosity enhances not just the animals' daily lives but also their general health, prospects of finding a permanent home, and the center's overall functioning.
We also want to acknowledge the sacrifices they make, often working tirelessly behind the scenes without seeking recognition. Their passion for the cause shines through in every action, and it serves as a reminder of the positive impact that individuals can have when they come together for a common purpose.
The world can be a challenging place for animals in need, but thanks to our volunteers, these animals have a chance at a brighter future. Their commitment to making a difference in the lives of these animals is truly commendable, and we are grateful for the positive change they bring to our community.
