If you are looking for an exciting part-time position, listen up. We are seeking enthusiastic people to fill the roles of Community Services Leader; Lifeguard; and Senior Lifeguard.

The Community Services Leader is tasked with front desk work and babysitting duties at the Montanoso and Sierra Recreation and Fitness Centers.   The pay ranges from $11-$14.20 per hour. 

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 25 when “Undocumented” author Dan-el Padilla Peralta talks about his inspiring memoir at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 200 Civic Center Drive.

Head to the Kaleidoscope on April 21 for a fabulous free concert featuring talented young musicians.
 
The City of Mission Viejo is teaming up with Community Outreach Alliance Music Performers to host the concert from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Plaza Level at 27741 Crown Valley Parkway.
 
The concert will feature amazing vocalists - Gabby Leigh, Merissa Macchiorola and Corey Angeli - as well as the Triple Braided-Trio & Solo Duet.
 

Give back and help the environment by volunteering during our annual Earth Day & Arbor Day celebration on Saturday, April 21. 

This annual event is from 8 a.m. to noon at Cordova Park, 26931 El Retiro.
 
Volunteers will have the chance to plant trees and shrubs at the park located near Carl Hankey School.  Free hotdogs and ice cream will be available for volunteers while supplies last.

When you head to the inaugural Comic-Con this Saturday, be sure to check out the awesome work of artist Fernando Del Rosario on display in the Mission Viejo Library.
 
His collection of original composed art is in honor of the two things near and dear to his heart – superheroes and inspirational quotes by extraordinary people.
 

While enjoying the cornucopia of activities planned for this year’s Arts Alive & Street Painting Festival April 28-29 at the Norman P. Murray Center, be sure to check out the creative events taking place at the Potocki Center for the Arts, just up the street.

The Mission Viejo Library is gearing up to host its inaugural Comic-Con from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 14.

This fun-filled day features a bevy of events along with crafts, trivia games, book talks, costume story times, food trucks and more.  The event will boast a panel of writers and animators showcasing their careers and inspirations for their work.

Joe Robinson, a guitar phenom who won "Australia's Got Talent," will amaze music aficionados when he takes the Mission Viejo stage on April 14.

Lord of the Strings will present the popular guitarist at 7 p.m. in the Mission Viejo Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.

Since being named the 2008 winner of "Australia's Got Talent," Joe Robinson has been proving why he deserved to be the victor, touring across the world, showing off his amazing guitar and vocal skills, accompanying the music he spends hours writing.

Get ready to double down for a good cause on Saturday, April 21 when Casino Night for a Cure transforms the Norman P. Murray Community Center into a gambler's paradise from 6:30-10:30 p.m.

Benefiting the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of South Orange County, your $65 ticket includes a delectable dinner by Outback Steakhouse; $200 in play money; a drink ticket for wine or beer; and fabulous raffle prizes.
