$70 team (set-partner) | discounts available for multiple events!*

Each division will feature up to 12 teams (set-partner), with consolation bracket and 20-minute timed win/loss matches (including 2-minuet warm up). Players will have 10 minutes in between matches before the next round begins. Court assignments will be announced and players will have 2 minutes to warm up, before playing an 18 minute game in Win/Loss format. Players should switch sides after 6, 12, or 18 points are scored. Each team may call a 1 minute time out during the match for water, but not within the last 5 minutes of play. When time is called, if players are tied, the ball will remain in motion. Whoever is not able to return the ball, or hits the ball out, takes the loss for the match. After each round, volunteers will collect the WIN/LOSS cards, and new court assignments will be announced and posted.

To register, click on the corresponding links below. Match start times are estimated. Players will receive a complete player packet 1 week prior to the event when registration closes with court assignments and start times. Players should arrive 30 minutes before play begins for announcements.

10-Week Round-Robin Leagues

The City of Mission Viejo offers 10-week Pickleball round-robin leagues throughout the year at the Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center. Each league features 16 to 24 players for round-robin play. Over the course of the 10-week league, players will play with and against each league member, tracking points throughout the season to declare an ultimate champion. Leagues are open to both men and women players. Players will be assigned to a court each week and will play between 3 (beginner) and 6 (Intermediate and advanced) round-robin matches, first to 11 points, win by 2, changing partners after each game. Every point counts as cumulative scores will determine the winner at the end of league celebration. League fees include balls, prizes for winners, and end-of-season celebration. Non-member fees also include all applicable guest fees.

WINTER LEAGUE INFORMATION

Winter leagues will run January 12 - March 19.  Registration is currently closed, however subs are always needed when regular members can’t play. Please be mindful of the league level when registering as a substitute player. SPRING LEAGUE INFORMATION

Spring pickleball leagues open for registration at 8 am on Tuesday, March 3 for members and on Wednesday, March 4 for the general public. Each league features 16-24 players for 8 weeks of round-robin play. Individual scores are tracked over the season to declare an ultimate champion at our end-of-season celebration.

Registration is available in-person at any of our Recreation Centers, over the phone and online. If you elect to register online, you must use the account associated with your membership to register on Tuesday, March 3, at 8 am. If you need assistance resetting your username and password, please contact the Recreation Centers at 949-859-4348 and a member of our staff can assist you.

As a friendly reminder, please do not contact staff members on their direct office lines during priority registration. All phone registrations must go through our main front desk lines as these are set-up to hold multiple incoming calls.

Spring leagues will be scheduled over 10-weeks, but will include only 8 weeks of play as we are anticipating a 2-week facility closure for court resurfacing.
Buy weeks are currently TBD.

As our programs continue to rise in popularity, we expect our pickleball leagues to fill quickly. If you are unable to register, please sign-up on the waitlist. Staff will use waitlists to fill any vacancies before and during the season and may offer additional leagues (or expand them) based on waitlisted players.
