Children’s Services

The Mission Viejo Library offers a wide range of materials, programs and services for our youngest patrons. From early literacy storytimes to family programs, there’s something for every young person, along with their parents and caregivers. Friendly, expert staff are on site to welcome children and families and help you with reading resources, homework research, fun family activities and more.

Early Childhood Programs

We invite families with young children to join us for storytime in the Friends Storytime Room! We have storytimes for all ages from baby to pre-school and older at 10:30 and 11:15 am Monday through Thursday. Families can come to enjoy songs, rhymes, and books that help build the foundation for a lifelong love of reading.

Busy mornings? Join us in your jammies Tuesday nights at 6pm for Pajama Storytime! This storytime for ages 3-6 is perfect for night owls.
